About

I’m Skyler Jackson, a digital painter inspired by both the details of my environment and the inner workings of my mind. My vibrant “digital pour” paintings are my signature style, something I have worked with through years of experimentation and growth as a self-taught artist. I officially began my artistic journey in the early 2000s after a big life change encouraged me to start fresh.

“I struggled as a kid, in life. I didn’t really get it until I began painting on my own, much later in life. It was like I’d found something worth holding on to, finally. Painting was an activity that bettered my life, and I held on to that.”

As I painted more, I became fascinated by what art could offer. I dove into experimenting with techniques, and developing my unique style of “digital pour“ paintings. This process keeps me grounded and helps me grow—not just as an artist, but as a person.

“This process is what helps me stay focused and develop into a better artist as well as a better person. I love painting because it helps me to be a better version of myself. One of my underlying goals in creating and sharing my work is to help other people do what I have done: become better through art.”

For me, painting is pure joy—a way to celebrate life. Every piece is deeply personal, and I channel my emotions and experiences into my art.

“I’m sure a lot of artists infuse their work with emotion, but I tend to fully invest myself, and the intensity of my feelings, into my work. There’s always deep emotion connecting everything.”

My paintings are vivid, colorful explosions—streams and ribbons of digital paint that feel free-flowing but are precisely controlled. They immerse viewers in a cosmos of color.

At its heart, my work is about color—how it blends, collides, and interacts to provoke emotions or change how we see things. The colors aren’t static; they’re dynamic, inviting you to notice something new every time you look.

Through my art, I hope to connect with people and inspire them to explore their own creativity. Art changed my life, and I believe it can do the same for others.
